Anne & Patrick Poirier, l’art du duo

The artistic duo Anne and Patrick Poirier, fueled by their passion for archaeology and architecture, are creating the new stained-glass windows and altar for the Saint-Nicolas chapel in the Palais du Tau, which adjoins Reims Cathedral. A residence of the kings of France until 1825, the palace, currently undergoing extensive restoration, will house the Museum of Coronations, dedicated to French history, in 2026. Simultaneously, in Nantes, where Patrick was born during the bombings, the couple will be featured at the Musée d’Arts, invited to create a major solo exhibition in June 2026. Meanwhile, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, where Anne spent her childhood, we follow the couple who live and work in Lourmarin in the Luberon.

Quand l’art déplace les montagnes

Every year, Léo, a seasoned hiker, undertakes a walking ritual through the trails of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. His journey leads him to discover works by artists who interact with nature to better reveal the history of the places. Following his walk, we cross the singular perceptions of artists, a shepherdess, or even a scientist with the more unexpected ones of a buzzard or a bee. Léo discovers the secrets of these works, which sensitize us to another way of walking and observing the world.
