Designed in dialogue with the Frank Gehry building, Daniel Buren’s work, Observatory of light, is spread across all the windows of the Louis Vuitton Foundation, an emblematic element of the building. This film follows the evolution of the work from the installation of the colored filters to its discovery by visitors who give us their impressions.
Daniel Buren talks to us about his work and its challenges, accompanied by the curator Suzanne Pagé and the engineer Nicolas Paschal, who in turn discuss the work and the artist.
Conçue en dialogue avec le bâtiment de Frank Gehry, l’œuvre de Daniel Buren intitulée L’Observatoire de la lumière se déploie sur l’ensemble des verrières, élément emblématique de l’édifice. Ce film suit l’évolution de l’œuvre depuis la pose des filtres colorés jusqu’à sa découverte par les visiteurs qui nous livrent leurs impressions.
Daniel Buren nous parle de son œuvre et de ses enjeux accompagné de la commissaire Suzanne Pagé et de l’ingénieur Nicolas Paschal qui évoquent tour à tour l’œuvre et l’artiste.

Questo filmato segue l’evoluzione dell’opera dall’installazione dei filtri colorati fino alla sua scoperta da parte dei visitatori, che ci raccontano le loro impressioni.
Daniel Buren ci parla della sua opera e delle sue sfide, accompagnato dalla curatrice Suzanne Pagé e dall’ingegnere Nicolas Paschal, che parlano a turno dell’opera e dell’artista.
