From the first meetings in the architectural firm until the day after the opening, this documentary follows Daniel Buren as well as the various stakeholders (architects, curators, workers, etc.) throughout the process of creating the exhibition The Museum which did not exist at the Center Pompidou in 2002. This documentary makes it possible to experience the work in the process of being constituted, to perceive the choices being made, to feel the doubts, the uncertainties, the moments of enthusiasm, to understand the directions in which the artist is committed throughout this realization which questions the museum in depth.
