A film by Gilles Coudert & Sébastien Pluot
Year of production: 2002
Duration: 26 min.
This documentary retraces Daniel Buren‘s journey through an interview with Pierre-André Boutang carried out during the assembly of the exhibition Le Musée qui n’existait pas at the Centre Pompidou in 2002. This discussion is an opportunity to understand itinerary of the artist but also the character. Daniel Buren discusses many of his in situ interventions and focuses more specifically on the relationship he has maintained with the audiovisual tool throughout his career, illustrated by unpublished archives.
