This film presents Tadashi Kawamata’s installation “Elevage en fût” (Barrel Breeding) created at the Château de Fraissé-des-Corbières. The installation consists of a staircase made of stacked oak barrels covered with wooden pallets, located on one side of the château and allowing access through a window. On the first floor, a sea of barrels fills the room, over which a path of pallets has been laid. In this film, we witness the creation of the work from the initial sketches to its appropriation by the public.
